Our Home of Encounters

welcome to our ninki nanka centre

Thanks to the support of the TUI Care Foundation’s Colourful Cultures initiative ‘Tails & Tales of the Ninki Nanka’, we are proud to open the Ninki Nanka Centre, a vibrant home for developing and celebrating the Ninki Nanka Trail and the many people who bring it to life.

Our Centre is a space for community, creativity, and connection — supporting local storytellers, entrepreneurs, craft producers, and artists to share their talents and grow together.

Here’s what you’ll find at the Ninki Nanka Centre:

  • Information & Visitor Hub – Learn about the Ninki Nanka Trail, meet local producers, make bookings and discover the stories that inspire our journey.

  • Community & Volunteer Space – The working base for Ninki Nanka Encounters, offering offices, meeting and training rooms and accommodation for volunteers.

  • Crafts & Creatives Incubator – A creative space offering technical support, workshops and mentoring to develop new Ninki Nanka Trail-branded crafts and merchandise.

  • Ninki Nanka Shop – A platform for emerging artists and producers to showcase and sell their handmade creations at the Centre, through pop-ups and online.

  • Art Café & Women’s Empowerment Projects – Run in partnership with ITTOG’s ‘No Woman Left Behind’ initiative, creating opportunities for women to learn, lead and thrive.

The Ninki Nanka Centre is more than a building, it’s a symbol of what we can achieve when communities, culture and conservation come together.

A Ninki Nanka Centre Manager will soon join our team to oversee the daily operations of the Centre, welcome visitors, and support our information, events, and marketing activities.
